Boho Outfits You’ll Love

Read this article that encompasses boho outfits that you’ll love!

I can most definitely assure you that after reading this article you’ll want to spend more on boho clothes!

Most people think of bohemian “boho” chic as being synonymous with hippie or hipster. While the need to use both terms may seem enticing in actuality when it comes to boho clothes they are more so about layers and patterns over being “hipster-ish”. You’ve probably can most equate it with the style people often wear to music festival Coachella.

The style of dressing was popularized in the 60s and 70s and the very essence of it is to encourage the freedom which of course translates to free and flowy fabrics. So for people that aren’t necessarily familiar to the boho chic fashion style, just think of Zoe Kravitz’s character on the HBO Series, Big Little Lies. This is boho chic and furthermore, I’ll be showing you various boho outfits for the sake of you getting inspiration.

In Fashion bible, Elle Magazine’s article entitled “5 Boho-Chic Looks You'll Want to Wear Over and Over Again” the writer acknowledges that in order to have the perfect bohemian chic look the look still must be an expression of the person embodying it. In this amazing ensemble, ( Which I am in love with) we can tell that the model is absolutely owning this look.

Taking a hard look at each contributing component of the look what has become most noticeable is the contrast in fabric from that of the faux fur, black ripped denim, and ankle boots. As boho chic is dependent on many layers and rooted in both the 70s and 60s we can tell that while the shirt’s cognac color may be more reminiscent of the 70s the use of oversized sunglasses paired with the faux fur jacket create the perfect aesthetic. This look is particularly reserved for fall times when women and men alike are itching for a good apple orchard or nature trail.

This look literally screams boho chic and we are here for every moment of it. I love how the solid purple cardigan almost clashes with the printed maxi dress. As you may have noticed, printed maxi dresses are often seen as essential to the boho chic alongside actually layering clothes and in this ensemble, the cardigan does an exceptional job pulling out the purple-ish hues of the maxi printed dress.

Additionally, we noticed the amount of jewelry used for the ensemble and recommend that those creating a boho chic look that isn’t necessarily layered but rather simple, should opt for adding more jewelry rather than wearing minimal jewelry.

We see not only women interested in boho outfits interested in rocking this look but also our trendy and hipsters-- seriously, who would’ve thought that these two would’ve met? In terms of completing the look with shoes, I recommend wearing something with a similar look with sandals.

We stan a FREAKING style legend. Yes to the hair shoes, denim, patterns. ALL OF THIS. What gets our attention almost immediately is the use of varying patterns within the entire look. For the shoes, the heels are white with holes while the blouse is warmly colored triangle.  What makes this outfit boho chic is the use of white boots, the color orange, and large sunglasses.

This look is definitely for the socialite who’s open to trying daring looks and isn’t always leaning towards matching colors. In terms of where women can wear this exceptional look is at brunch, an editorial shoot and out at a street food restaurant rather than a fancy five-star restaurant. Nonetheless, swapping out shoes changes the vibe of the look entirely. For instance, if the Jeffrey Campbell like heels have now become useless and are being changed for chuck taylors or vans the entire look would be different.

With chuck taylors the outfit gives off a more vintage look with the warmth of the blouse paired with the timeless shoes. In the case of vans, the ensemble then becomes a vacillation between vintage and vintage-skater. Additionally, this particular outfit would be a great add in for a future what to wear in Italy for vacation publication.

This look is actually one of our favorites. We’d essentially call this look more of an unconventional boho outfit mainly because not only does it meet the requirements of layers and patterns but it also embodies fashion from both the 60s and 70s.

According to the popular fashion source known as Who What Wear, in their article entitled, “ The Game Changing 60s Fashion Trends We Still Love Today” the article infers that during the 60s time period which most boho clothes are in fact modeled after, the clashing of prints was a major part of the outfit similar to this particular boho outfit, where the model is wearing both blue and white stripes and a zig-zagged patterned skirt over the long shirt.

According to women’s online publication and online magazine, Cosmopolitan-- an article entitled “8 Ways To Wear the Sexy Boho Look Year Round”, provides additional information on the bohemian style of dress and what we found to be most helpful is that the essentials were specific to each season. Furthermore, we recommend denim flowy dresses, maxis and cut off shorts as essentials during the spring/summer months when it comes to dating.

However, in the world of accessorizing we’d like for you to keep in mind the importance of the statement piece and how each component of the look communicates what the big pictures is. Fortunately, wholesale dresses are able to help contribute to, predict and determine the most important aesthetics for the season.

Therefore, when it comes to creating your own boho styles remember to start out mapping what your own vision is and then writing in the details that will ultimately contribute to a fire photo shoot and aesthetic.
